Dallas Wings guard Paige Bueckers, the Minnesota native selected No. 1 overall in the 2025 WNBA Draft, says Black women deserve equal opportunities to lead the league they helped build. Bueckers credited the Black women who helped raise and coach her—including her stepmother and AAU coach—and called for equal access to coaching and leadership roles across the WNBA.
