Minneapolis Police Chief Brian O’Hara resigned after investigators found he allegedly interfered with a city investigation involving claims about sexual relationships with city employees.
Mayor Jacob Frey said the original allegations were not substantiated. But findings that O’Hara allegedly deleted evidence and disregarded instructions during the investigation ultimately led to his resignation.
Frey said public trust drove the decision.
