Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison announced Tuesday that he would be suing Texas Gov. Greg Abott in order to extradite Christian Castro, the ICE agent charged with shooting Julio Sosa-Celis in North Minneapolis during Operation Metro Surge. This comes after months of silence from Gov. Abott on when Castro would be extradited. Governor Tim Walz made the extradition request in early June.
