For a campaign running so hard on fraud, Republican Michele Tafoya has a lot to explain with this one. In February, Tafoya’s campaign took a $5,000 donation from Dean Buntrock and his wife. He died two months later. Dean Buntrock was found guilty of defrauding his company’s shareholders to the tune of t $6 billion and was fined $2.3 million, the largest individual fine for an accounting fraud case in Security and Exchange Commission history. So what types of fraud is Tafoya actually against? We asked and will let you know what we hear.
