During a Federal Impacts Subcommittee hearing, Minnesota Sen. Alice Mann sharply criticized Trump administration policies that have reduced funding and eligibility for student loans. She and other lawmakers argue that the administration is “manipulating the federal student loan process” with the goal of “limiting access to education and bankrupting students that dare to bet on themselves.”
