Minnesota native Pete Hegseth booed, called ‘war criminal’ by protesters during D.C. event

Minnesota native and Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth faced repeated interruptions from anti-war protesters Wednesday during a U.S. Army conference in Washington, D.C. Protesters shouted “war criminal” and “coward” at Hegseth over the Trump administration’s war with Iran. Several demonstrators were escorted out as Hegseth attempted to continue a panel discussion about autonomous warfare and military drones.
