Speaking at a press conference covered by KARE 11, Becca Good spoke publicly for the first time since her wife, Renée Good, was fatally shot by an ICE agent in Minneapolis nine months ago — on the same day their family filed two civil lawsuits seeking accountability for her death. One lawsuit names the United States and alleges wrongful death; another names ICE agent Jonathan Ross and several current and former federal officials and alleges a conspiracy to interfere with civil rights. Becca said she doesn’t hate the people who took Renée from her family — but wants them to live with what was lost: “They took a mother away from her children.”
