When it comes to the mining debate in Minnesota’s 8th Congressional District–home to the Iron Range–Trina Swanson believes we should mine, just not in the Boundary Waters. The DFL-endorsed candidate says her opponent, Republican incumbent US Rep. Pete Stauber, will peg her as anti-mining for her pro-environment stance. Swanson says we can have both, as long as we do so responsibly and take care when it comes to the BWCA.
